Returns & Damages Policy
We will ensure that our obligations under all New Zealand Acts are met. If a product develops a fault within its warranty period, we will arrange to have it repaired or replaced by the manufacturer/supplier.
The cost of returning the faulty item to us is to be paid by the customer. We will cover the return delivery cost.
1. Damaged Goods
Claims for damaged goods must be made within 7 working days of delivery. Goods signed for as received in good condition may not be eligible for damage claims.
2. Short Delivery, Loss or Defects
Claims for missing, defective, or incorrect goods must be made within 10 working days of delivery.
3. Returns

- Returns must be approved prior to sending
- A valid Return Authorisation (RA) number is required
- Goods must be returned within 14 days of approval
- Goods must be in resaleable condition
- Freight must be prepaid
- No Freight costs will be credited.
- A 15% restocking fee may apply unless waived by ToolWare
4. Warranty
Some goods may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. ToolWare does not provide additional warranties and acts only as an intermediary where applicable. Customers must notify ToolWare of defective goods within 10 working days of delivery.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modification, or fair wear and tear. ToolWare is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
